Genesis 28:16 “Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, ‘Surely the Lord is in this place, and I did not know it.’” Many times we believe that God abandons us, that He doesn't answer us, and that He ignores us, but this is not so. He, even if we don't notice it, is always with us. His Spirit comforts us, instructs us, and seeks to guide us on the right path. When we feel bad, when everyone abandons us, betrays us, or anything else happens, let us remember that God is with us. But it is we who must allow Him into our hearts, because He will not force us. Many times, it is our pride that prevents us from wanting God to draw near to us; it is our flesh that tells us we don't need the King of kings (God). However, our spirit and our soul will always long for Him. Let us believe in Him, let us love Him above all things, even though it is difficult, because there are temptations, many temptations, but let us resist them, and there we will have our reward in heaven. Jesus is coming, let us repent! I want us all to be in heaven with God! And if I long for it so much, I can't imagine how much God, our Father, longs for it.
