Reykjavik, Iceland. Went for 6 days for $1500 per person total, stayed in an apartment overlooking the water, did 2 different 6+ hour excursions outside of the city, ate out 5x (bought groceries and cooked the rest of the time, it was delicious), walked or bussed everywhere. Also the flight is only 5-7 hours depending on where you're flying out of.

I am shocked at how many people in the comment section has never stayed at a hostel! Some of them are better than hotels 😂. Take my word for it. And this is coming from someone who has done both hotels and hostels as a solo traveler.

Yesss keep sharing ! And once you pay that flight out of US you can get around very reasonably. Vietnam, Bali I stayed in hostels for $5+. Days u want your own room u can find a nice one for $15+. $50 ur ballin 😂😂😂😂😂😂
