$69,000 a month to $115,000. New customers up 118%. MER from 4 to 6. Organic from 10,000 monthly views to 338,000. Six months. And when this jewellery supply business came to us, they had no content at all. Here’s what most supply businesses get wrong. You decide the product is the boring part. Silver is silver. So the ads become a catalogue product on white, price, shop now and the whole account ends up speaking to one general customer called “a jeweller.” So the first thing we did wasn’t shoot content. It was read the audience. Hobbyist makers, most active weeknights between six and nine, making pieces and selling them on to their own customers. Then we stopped saying jewellers and started saying makers. And then we named them. Earring makers. Wire wrappers. Ring makers. On organic, naming the persona in the opener beat a generic hook every single month we ran it. On paid, that same thinking became micro personas — the hobbyist who’s just learned to solder, the maker doing weekend markets, the studio jeweller with wholesale orders due. Same silver. Three completely different businesses, with three completely different reasons to buy. Then we stopped selling metal and started selling what they were about to make. Every one of those is an angle. Every angle opens a new pocket of cold traffic. On organic we stopped selling materials and started holding a standard. Professional makers don’t compromise on their tools. Aspiration, not intimidation, it drove more follows and shares than any angle we tested. And we optimised for saves, not likes. Lo-fi, informative, payoff inside the first three seconds so people save before they scroll. Because on a supplies brand a save is a maker about to build something. Our best post did 911 likes and 803 saves. The last part is the one most agencies skip. For a few months we didn’t scale. We held MER at 4 and made the account earn the budget first. Revenue doubled anyway. Then it went to 5.2. Now it’s tracking 6. And new customers grew faster than revenue, which means the growth came from strangers, not from the people already buying. If you’ve got no content and you think that’s the thing holding you back, it isn’t. It’s who you think you’re talking to.
