The doctors broke my sisters tailbone on purpose bc it was in the way of the baby. They asked her if it was okay and she yelled “do whatever just get him out” 😂

Everyone is going to comment to get a donut pillow… from a nurse here, DO NOT get a donut pillow. It is no longer a standard of practice because it actually “cuts off” blood supply around it and does not encourage healing due to the limited blood supply! 😭

Take a boppy pillow and sit on that for awhile.

I did. It never truly heals. That’s not to say it always hurts, but it can go numb often!

I broke my tailbone giving birth. 3 years later and I still can’t sit for long periods of time. I actually couldn’t sit, lay on my back, or walk properly it wasn’t so bad. If you broke it trust me you will know.

🙋♀️I fry your mind during the birth of my first and was in pain for over a year. Most doctors said there was nothing I could do. I did enough research though and found a chiropractor who specializes in tailbone, injuries and travel to see her. I had three treatments with her. I am currently 34 weeks pregnant with my third and have had zero tailbone issues since.

My son broke my xyphoid process. The bone at the middle where your ribs came meets. Not the same I know, but I still can't sleep on my right side after 19 years.

I bruised my tailbone during labor and it still hurts 10 weeks pp!! I pushed for 3 straight hours so my doctor said the pressure down there during labor will cause that!!
