I hate seeing houses where the perfect spot for your TV is where the fireplace is. The center of your TV shouldn't be more than 4-5 feet off the ground. You shouldn't have to tilt your head up to watch a TV from the sitting position. Not to mention if you use the fireplace, you have to protect the TV from heat by having it higher up or some sort of heat guard. I get that fireplaces are generally the main visual center of a room but as someone who enjoys a good home entertainment center, it's annoying lol. 😂
