i know for a fact they made the hinge not stay in place because they will add that to the fold 9 so we can be like oh thats the feature i want and switch again

I also have the same phone and typed the comment in flex mode it totally does work and stays in this angle by its self x

The fold 7 had this feature. The z fold 8 got a spring loaded hinge so they removed it. This video is very misleading. He is just typing in notes with his phone on the side and partially folded.
