@natashafigueroa1021: Anyone else going through the same thing? Any and all tips welcome 🫶🏽 @Hatch Baby For Sleep #sleeptraining #parentingtips #newmomtips #momtok #fy
Mom of a 16 month old and I personally did the cry it out method when she was 5 months it is hard at first but effective the crying slowly decreases until they can soothe themselves but honestly any method will be hard you just have to be consistent. She is older so it will probably require a little more work. I would suggest Earlier bedtime, enough milk during the day that she won’t wake for milk at night.

Put a shirt of yours something that has your scent and put it near her in the crib so she can smell it

Girl! my 3yr old still wakes up 1x a night. Sounds like your baby is having a sleep regression waking up every hour. It will get better. As they get older they will sleep longer. Every child is different. We "sleep trained our kids" My son still wakes up occasionally and my daughter sleeps through the night! to prove you that 2 children same method different outcome. Just do what makes ur life easier. Is natural process as she gets older she will sleep longer. 1st yr is rough but it will get better. Yo me mataba disque sleep training, Gerber method, staying by their crib n walking away n coming back. N guess what! Had I knew then what I know now. I wouldve never stressed it. Is a just a rough phase. This too shall pass. Do whatever makes ur night easier!!! Asi sea u holding her to sleep. She will grow out of it

Please do NOT do Ferber method!! They’re not meant to cry that long for comfort. It messes with their secure attachment. I know is hard now but they will sleep one day. Everything is temporary. 🙏🏼

Omg, you’re definitely not alone! 😩 I have an 8-month-old who doesn’t sleep through the night either. Once he falls asleep next to me in my bed, or at bedtime when I put him in his crib, he wakes up after about 4 hours. Then I try to put him back to sleep, but every time I put him back in the crib, he wakes up again—sometimes every hour. 😩
Honestly, I’ve given up some nights because I have to work at 7 AM and I’m up by 5 AM. I just can’t keep doing the same thing all night. I end up keeping him in bed with me, and even then he still wakes up.
I’m honestly over it and don’t know what else to do. Everyone keeps telling me, “Just put him back in the crib,” but the only way I’m able to get a little more sleep some days is when he sleeps with me. 😭

19 month old never sleep trained. My girl hated the crib hates sleep sacks so we got a floor bed and now we read books, talk until she falls asleep then I just leave the room. But she’s never slept longer than 10hrs a night 7-7 would be a dream but my girl is fomo baby

Ferber method. Works amazing. Now as a 7 year old she goes to bed alone and is an amazing sleeper. Is hard but they adapt so fast. Good luck mama

That’s why I started around 8 months 🫠. Mine goes to bed around 7:30-8pm and wakes up at 8am the next day. Btw she’s turning one next week and she still fells in my arms and then I move her to her crib.

I JUST sleep trained my 1 year old about a month and a half ago. I did the Ferber method….life saver!!! First 2-3 days are hard but if you stick with it she should be good in a week. Good luck!

Doctors say don’t give a bottle during the night because now you’re training them to wake up every night at that time to have a bottle.

Try a sleep sack, and let her falls asleep on her own even if it takes time. make sure that room is pitch black even while you are in there. If you hold her and wait until she falls asleep to lay her (like i did😂) you gonna have to do that every time she wakes up. Con el tiempo its gonna take her less time to fall asleep

I don't know if this works for you but, set an earlier bed time, I first started by rocking my son until he would fall sleep and then later on I would just put him on his crib slept all night. However, every children are different with my daughter's I just put them in their cribs and they would fall asleep without any problem the whole night. Between I started bed time routine when they where around 4, 5 months.
