@leann_day: I thought being told I needed a CPAP was one of the worst things that could happen to me. Turns out, finally treating my sleep apnea was one of the best. 💜 I spent so much time worrying about how I would look, how I would sleep, and whether I could ever get used to wearing a mask. Now I know what it feels like to actually sleep. To wake up rested. To feel like myself again. The thing I was so afraid would change my life... did. Just not in the way I expected. 💜 #cpap #sleepapnea #osa #relatable #fyp
Went from having 49.3 apneas per hour, to less than 2 now. I use the pillows mask and is the best (N30i).

The annoying thing is that what is a perfect mask for one person is a disaster for another, and trying it out just like that can be quite expensive. I currently use the ResMed N30i, the best mask so far—not perfect, but the best so far. I would like to try the F40, but it’s still a lot of money.

If you’re new to this technology, what really helped me out to get used to it. Was to wear it sitting watching TV. I did that for a few times and going to bed was a lot easier with it. I’m in Chicago so watching the Bears 15+ years ago, most fans were asleep by halftime so you got used to this really quick!

I’m picking mine up on Tuesday and I’m so scared that it’s going to affect my relationship with my husband and that he will see me differently. I’m also worried about having to wear a mask all night
