obsidian and rag do not use canonical dates. this is imperative to how humans think because we learn we form ideas and opinions and then those ideas and opinions grow and change over time using a tiered memory system similar to what I have built that has eight tiers it's able to associate and think more like a human we should all be moving into tiered memory systems

Everybody including myself seems to think they’ve figured this one out and I actually do think I have at least so far with what we have as far as capabilities and tech technologies but I also believe that maybe there’s not one road there. Maybe there’s many. Humans learned differently, perhaps AI does as well. I haven’t heard this one. I’m going to experiment. Thanks bro. I think obsidian is fun to look at, but honestly, it’s more novelty than practicality when you really stack it. I think the best thing that I have found is a simple file system. I’m in a beta program and have my hands on a device that is not released yet and the device has a folder system built in that the ai can manage and customize. And what we do is daily mixed downs, so that the day is summarized every day in its own markdown file, but then everything from that particular day is in its own folder system, and then the markdown file is full of contextual references kind of like hyperlinks are when you’re reading a blog or something, and this creates multiple roads to get to the same data point and as the file system expands things are broken down into not only date and summarized daily with those references, but also categories of specific repeatable subjects, people, places, and things. I’ve done a lot of tests with a lot of different systems and I have been a part of a lot of cool beta programs. And so far this one really works better than all of the others have but I don’t want to speak too soon because only time will tell with the layering and stacking if it will bog it down.

Obsidian is goated for this. When I was messing w Hermes really heavy I had a brain dump of every convo from chat, grok, Claude, etc converted into json and then had it organize it it’s sick 😮💨🔥

Yes And… we use a scrum board and a retro board … and a searchable atlas of everything ever including artifacts “held aside” … ND friendly ofc
