I feel like this with my kids. I have 3 kids, they’re almost grown. Now I’m 45 getting my masters (I’ve been an RN for 17 years). I’m so happy I had my kids when I was younger. You can be any age and go back to school, you cannot be any age and have children. Soon I’ll have my masters and my 3 kids. Some people feel like they’re too old. You’re never too old to go back to school.

Time really is an illusion because somehow the last 10 years flew by. And that’s exactly why I’m choosing to be intentional about the next 10. At 35 I’m pivoting in my career, finally taking my fitness seriously, stepping into content creation knowing absolutely nothing 😂, and saying yes to rooms I would’ve talked myself out of before. I’m learning that sometimes the hard thing is simply showing up before you feel ready.

This is very true. I’m retired at 38 because of the military. All of my coworkers are always like “must be nice”. No that 20 years was an investment. The recruiting office is open Monday-Saturday you guys could’ve joined also.
