Patient is 28 year old female, do not resuscitate, no know allergies. History of hypertension, congestive heart failure, type 2 diabetes mellitus. Patient is alert and oriented x 1, presents with 7/10 upper left quadrant abdominal pain and 3 days of nausea and vomiting. O2 saturation of 93% on room air (no supplemental oxygen) pt is currently nothing by mouth. My question is why is a 28yof dnr?
