I heard sound of madness in middle school. I liked it an added it to my playlist. One day randomly week 1 of freshman year of hs I started listening to their other songs. Been a constant fan ever since. Just graduated hs, listening to them all 4 years!

I can give a couple reasons as to why Second Chance and their version of Simple Man got me through 2022. I had an aneurysm caused by my epilepsy. These two songs and the love of my ( then my girlfriend now my wife ) kept me from giving up. If I could meet Brent Smith I would tell him thank you for how those two songs helped me.
