Nevada man Luis Alberto Osorio pleaded guilty after prosecutors say he conspired to purchase firearms, magazines and ammunition intended to be sold south of the border for profit. Federal officials say cutting off the weapons supply chain directly disrupts the ability of dangerous criminal organizations to operate. Osorio also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to launder money and harboring people in the U.S. illegally. He faces a maximum possible sentence of 70 years in prison.
