3 years ago, I was 15 feet up on some rickety old ladder, starting to pressure wash my house, damn hose pushing me back towards my death. 5 mins in, I’m like “Nope”. Brought 💩 back to the rental place. They laughed and actually refunded me. Tried to hire these young guys for $400, they were like “Hell no!” Hired a prof— dude looked like Paul Bunyan. Best 2 days off I’ve ever had. Went to the beach with legs that still worked. 😎

My mom is 76 and a fall risk. She has lots of really cute ornamental rugs (great for a slip and slide adventure!) so anyway those are now hidden in the basement. We can find a way to display them that doesn’t send her on an Aladdin-like adventure to the ER.
