One of my best friends in high school her older sister was murdered about two months before she was set to graduate. One of our teachers had all of her students write out what they would want their parents/guardians to know if they passed and how they would like their funeral to be. It was an assignment set up due to unfortunately another student passing and us using it as a way of grieving to talk about it. It was because of that assignment her family knew what she wanted. This one hit super close to home for me. My heart absolutely breaks for you. I am so unbelievably sorry for your loss.

My best friends funeral we played bullet by Hollywood undead. Iykyk but it was her favorite song and her mom knew it had to be done. I still can’t listen to that song without crying. It’s only been a year will be two next April. Has it gotten easier? No. Not yet at least. Will it? I hope. “Time heals all wounds” no. It doesn’t. It makes it hurt less. But the hurt will always be there. We just learn to deal with it in our own ways.
