My sister is a medical doctor. She had her pediatric residency for over 2 years but decided not to finish it due to exhaustion. She said she regretted choosing that career. It’s a career that will take up all your time and energy.

I also dreamed to be a cardiac surgeon. but money did not allowed me. I've come to terms with it though. I know now that even if I had the money then, my body wouldn't be able to stand the many late nights studying and 24hrs duties of doctors. I'm thankful of the redirection of my life.

i tried searching my dream job here on tiktok and the first that came out is businesswoman, and it's true that i want to have multiple businesses, like real state(i already have a small rental house business), a farm( i already have one), gold and diamond shop, a small private resort(still on the making), a supermarket( just have a small convenience store which my mom is managing right now) and a petrol station. may god bless me to have all these businesses.i am slowly building my dream.

I spent my life going to trainings, first aid, disaster management, and etc. as early as 5th grade I entered red cross youth because i was adamant i’m gonna be a doctor one day. i had a great time with all those trainings until i grew up and reality hit me. We had no money for my dream.

Same, my dream job is to be a doctor also, specifically a surgeon. But considering the financial capability if my family, I took a different path which is civil engineering. Happy naman ako na now I am a licensed CE but I promised to myself na kapag may sapat na ipon na and napoprovide ko na needs ng aking magulang nang walang problema, mag-aaral ulit ako but this time ay para maging doctor na.✨
