📍 Kibimbi falls, Bururi. ⚫️How to get there: ▪️The first option is always driving and follow the map, it takes around 3 hours from Bujumbura to Bururi ⚫️Where to stay: 🏨 : They are a couple of accommodations, it will all depend to what kind of activities you want to enjoy, if you want to visit Bururi National park you better stay in the Center but if you are targeting to visit Kibimbi falls, hot springs, the community of Batwa, the Martyrs of Buta, and so on then it’s better you stay in Buta just 20 to 30 minutes from the city Center ▪️We stay in a place called “ku bapatiri” ( range 25k to 30 k/ night) nothing fancy but the place is clean and quiet, it is surrounded by trees, I did enjoy my stay. ( another plus is that this hotel offers a full board service upon request and it’s very affordable,) ⚫️How to get around ▪️I rented a bike half a day for 30K BIF , it is more easier to get around by bike than by car ⚫️Must see places : ✔️Muyange falls ✔️Muyange hot springs ✔️Bururi Natural Reserve ✔️Martyrs of The Fraternity Sanctuary ✔️Batwa community of Bururi ✔️GASHINYIRA the birth place of first King of Burundi ✔️ Kibimbi and Ngendo mountains ( * chase waterfalls) (Don’t forget your swimsuit when you visit the falls) #chasewaterfalls #visitburundi #wheretogoinburundi #roadtrip #mountains #heartofafrica #visitafrica #motherland #burunditiktok🇧🇮
