@rogueridgelife: We’re so proud of our boy!! He put so much effort into this project! He participated in every stage of the process. From creating the menu items and naming them, to building the stand from scratch, to asking for sponsors, and finally working the stand! We had a great day in McMinnville today. This is such a beautiful area with an amazing community of people who live here. A special thank you to Citizens Bank for hosting us. We encourage you families out there to mark Lemonade Day on your calendar for next year! Back story: Kingston decided to participate in this year’s Lemonade Day. With the help of his parents and our generous local businesses, he has built the “Lemonade King” stand. While participating in this event, they are encouraged to donate a portion of their earnings to charity. When he was asked, Kingston replied “I want to help my biological mom, Larissa.” As we continued building, it became something bigger, greater than us. Our wheels began to turn, literally. After lemonade day, we will take RIDGE on the road to continue our fundraising efforts to not only help Larissa, but other young people in need.
