Thank you for this, I am due to travel to Japan next year and an Onsen adventure has always been a reason for going. I’m 33 and was diagnosed with epilepsy just 2 years ago and because of this I can’t really spend a long time in things like hot baths, hot tubs etc as they can raise my BP and trigger a seizure. A video like this showing a more chill bath is great 😊 thnx, more pls

The website says their “baths are not available for day-use visitors. They are for overnight guests only”. 😩

Not that I’m going anytime soon, but Japan is on my bucket list. Do they accommodate men and women too? Are they private or shared with other patrons? Lastly, do you know their tattoo rules?

I realize this is different than a public bath - but is this a shared place as well where you fully disrobe etc?
