This is a false equivalency. You’re comparing CGT to Basic Individual Income Tax. What about the taxable income of the corporation?
If you actually read the tax code, business corporations have much higher income tax rates. It’s about 20-30% base. Don’t forget about the Minimum Corporate Income Tax, which is 2% of the gross sales, collected even if the businesses has a negative net income.
To add, you didn’t even account for Estate taxes for the shares you’re talking about.
Taxation as a subject is already convoluted in itself, and misinformation like this does not help the public be educated.
You can demonize the billionaires in all aspects of ethical responsibility, but don’t demonize them because they’re the biggest taxpayers if we’re talking about how much tax is deducted from the income.
Talk about something else. You “guru’s” should stop talking about stuff you don’t know about.

Mr. Arfy :
i mean, billionaires in different countries use the same strategy. It’s called “buy, borrow, die.” even elon has used it. it’s not some unique loophole in ph, it’s a common wealth management strategy among the rich
