The cost of living in Uganda is almost comparable in many aspects, depending on where you buy your products and services. For example, let’s say an apple costs KES 30 in Kenya, while the same apple costs UGX 1,000 in Uganda. Earning millions in Kenya can be comparable to earning billions in Uganda when you consider the difference in currency values and purchasing power. Once you understand it properly, you’ll realize that it’s largely about the numbers and what those numbers can actually buy.
