I agree with your comment, but I just want to add my own perspective. Man, you’re spittin’ some fire. 😂🔥 I think a lot of men have a harder time getting over a breakup because, like you said, it’s the vision they had in their head. You’re not just grieving her—you’re grieving the relationship, the plans, the trips, the memories, and everything you pictured your future being. If you spent five, ten, or even more years with somebody, you’re grieving all that time and everything you invested into that relationship. And I think sometimes it takes men a little longer to process all of that. A lot of women may have already checked out emotionally before the relationship actually ends, so by the time the breakup happens, they’ve already started processing it. I’m not saying that’s every woman, but I do think it happens. And honestly, I don’t think it’s fair sometimes because the other person may not even realize the relationship is ending until it’s already over. But yeah, man, this topic is dope. This is fire, bro. I really like this conversation. 🔥

I’ve also learned when a girl breaks up with someone who they saw a future with she decides it months before the breakup, she falls out of love or contemplates wether to leave or not so she gives chances for things to change but once she decides to leave she is ready to leave. She has gone through the heartbreak and cried and makes sure she is fine with the breakup.

I dated someone for about a year. She broke up with me because, at the time, I wasn’t ready to be a stepdad, and I wasn’t good enough then. For a couple of months, she messed with two people. One of them was a friends-with-benefits situation. Then we got back together for three days. We spent those three days together, talking, breaking down each other’s walls, and telling each other we loved each other. We were making plans for the future, including her kid. Everything felt real. But then, when I dropped her off at home Friday so she could go to work, everything was great. We were flirting, saying goodbye, and everything felt normal. Then I woke up the next morning to two voice messages and found out I was blocked on everything so she could go be with the friends-with-benefits guy. I feel lost. I feel empty. I feel like I’ll never be good enough. It hurts in a way I can’t even explain, and I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone. I’m broken right now, and I feel like I lost my person. I gave her my heart again, believed in the future we were talking about, and let my walls come down. And now I’m left trying to understand how something that felt so real could disappear overnight.

Lies! It was a four and a half year relationship, he started dating 5 months after the breakup….and honestly if that man saw the value in the relationship, he would have fought for it, put in the effort, and done what needed to be done to save the investment! Women don’t leave just because, there are unmet needs, feelings and emotions that are not being recognized, and he hasn’t prepared for the accountability of his side of the deal where he also let it all fall apart. Women will stand with ashes in their hands, while the men decides to just keep walking.
