the sad thing is the new car warranty Time study is not accurate. instructor watch a Time study and explain that the car was in the shop the tools were laid out along with the part on the bench the clock started and stopped every time he read The shop manual. bypassing the dispatcher the parts department, service writer, bringing in and moving out the vehicle and clean up the bay and put back the tools. and the time was cut almost in half and when it went to upper management it was cut again. a technician is the backbone of keeping the industry running and when the technician is being punished for there crap that's allowed to be built and not compensate fairly to the technician that saves their ass.
