I’ve been to Manila and stayed in Maria siquijor. Much cheaper and friendlier country than Australia. Don’t have to work 80hr weeks to pay the bills and eat.

I retired here in the Philippines February this year with my long term partner who is Filipino, I have been here many times over the last 15yrs and love the place and I know it’s the right move for me, it’s a great place to retire.
