@mr_nakyofficial: Skip the complex panel math! Learn how to transform a standard fitted skirt into a stunning 6-piece panel skirt using the dart line as your shortcut. 1. Cut Your Standard Basic Skirt Draft and cut a standard straight skirt block to your desired length (front and back pieces). Make sure your waist darts are clearly marked in their standard positions. 2. Extend the Dart Line Extend a straight line from the bottom point of the waist dart all the way down through the knee level to the bottom hem. 3. Slash into 3 Separate Panel Pieces Cut along that dart extension line from the hem all the way to the top waist. Cut out the dart wedge at the waist. You now have 3 separate panel pieces for the front (Center Front and two Side Fronts) and 3 separate panel pieces for the back (Center Back and two Side Backs), making 6 panels in total. 4. Add Flare to the Panels Place your cut pattern pieces onto fresh fabric. To create the panel flare, add your desired extra width (e.g., 2 to 4 inches) at the side seams and slash lines starting from the knee level down to the hem on both sides of each panel piece. Add 0.5-inch seam allowances to all cut edges before cutting your final fabric.#PanelSkirt #PatternHacks #SewingTutorial #6PiecesSkirt #EasySewingMethod
