I love my Pro 4s as my race day shoe, so I tried a pair of Evo SL for runs during the week. Sadly just can’t wear them - they destroy my toes. Sold my Evo SLs to a mate.

I’d argue that they’re more similar than different. From the underfoot feeling to the geometry. One (AP4) is more efficient from the rigged nature and thus better for sustained effort. And I’d always take the evo sl for faster intervals because it better trains the leg strength.

pro 4 for me is so much more comfortable and now my rods have snapped I like them even more. sl are a good shoe but no comparison
