Thick Fudgy Brownies 🍫🤎 My updated thick fudgy brownie recipe! This is my favorite recipe I’ve developed so far. It’s so good and very easy! I also doubled the recipe in the video, the recipe shared makes one 8x8 pan :) Wet ingredients: 1/2 cup butter (113g) (straight from the fridge) 1/4 cup oil (55g) 3/4 cup granulated sugar (150g) 1/3 cup brown sugar (67g) 1/3 cup chocolate chips (I used milk) (60g) 2 large eggs 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract Dry ingredients: 1/4 cup +2 tbsp cocoa powder (36g) 3/4 cup ap flour (98g) 1/2 tbsp cornstarch 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder *1/3 cup chocolate chips to fold in (Optional) 1.) In a pot combine the butter, sugars and oil then heat over medium heat until the butter is completely melted and the mixture is homogeneous (Stirring continuously). Then lower the heat and whisk in the cocoa powder and chocolate chips until the chocolate chips are completely melted, and remove from the heat 2.) Once cooled until room temp whisk in the eggs, vanilla, cornstarch, baking powder and salt. Lastly fold in the flour and chocolate chips and pour into an 8x8 pan and bake at 325 for 20-28 minutes preferably use a internal thermometer and it reaches a internal temp reaches 185F 3.) Preferably cool completely before enjoying or eat while warm. Enjoy 🫶 Tips/info: - I always use cold butter from the fridge there’s no need to bring it to your room temp in this recipe since it all gets heated up on the stove - I prefer using milk chocolate chips in my brownie batter - The baking powder gives the brownies a slight lift so that they’re not so heavy, it doesn’t make a cakey brownie! - To get a crackly top and brownies, you need to dissolve the sugar inside of the batter and also have a balance of water and type of sugar - To get nice slices, make sure to completely cool the brownies and also pop them in the fridge before slicing #honeybakes2 #brownies #crinklytop #fudgy #bakingrecipe
