@frosthorstysm: Su-27 Sukhoi-27 | Твинк - @frosthorstyy The Sukhoi Su-27 (NATO reporting name: Flanker) is a legendary Soviet-designed, twin-engine, supersonic supermaneuverable fighter aircraft. Developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau, it entered service in 1985 and was built to challenge American fourth-generation jets like the F-15 Eagle.Key Specifications & PerformanceTop Speed: Mach 2.35 (2,500 km/h or 1,550 mph) at altitude.Combat Range: Over 3,500 km (1,910 nmi) with large internal fuel tanks.Engines: 2 × Saturn AL-31F afterburning turbofans.Armament: 30mm GSh-30-1 autocannon, air-to-air missiles (R-73, R-27), bombs, and rockets.Design & ManeuverabilityThe Su-27 features an advanced aerodynamic design where the fuselage and wings blend into one giant lifting body. Combined with fly-by-wire controls, this gives the jet extreme agility. It is famous for performing complex aerobatic maneuvers, most notably Pugachev's Cobra, where the plane briefly pitches up to a 110–120 degree angle of attack without losing altitude. The Flanker DynastyThe basic airframe proved so successful that it served as the baseline for a vast family of modernized derivatives:Su-30: Two-seat multirole fighter.Su-33: Carrier-based naval variant.Su-34: Side-by-side armored strike bomber.Su-35: Advanced "Generation 4++" air superiority fighter.J-11: Chinese license-built and modified variants #su27 #sukhoi27 #sukhoisu27 #flanker #russia @user5958513882834 @kaisermilitaryeditor @note_speaker
