The thing is that Miguel is not giving Miles the option to save his dad. ALL the spidermans had their chances at trying to save their respective one. Miguel could easily let go of Miles to let him try to save him. Maybe he would have failed or not. But he IS intentionally k*lling off a person. Maybe A WHOLE universe again because, this time. Their original Spiderman isn't on it. Which could cause another disrupt in the canon event.

The canon event thing shouldn’t apply to officer singh anyway because Spot isn’t a villain in that universe either. Technically speaking, Spot isn’t a canon villain, so why should the rules of canon apply to every universe he ruins?
