this series could have been so freaking good if the writers/ creaters weren't scared for it to evolve beyond the premise and didn't make it so Arthur could never know about merlin

My ONLY issue with this, is that in the show Merlin takes Excalibur from the lake and puts it in the stone, but in the actual legend the sword in the lake and the sword in the stone are two different swords. Excalibur in the lake and caliburn in the stone. So many people completely overlook caliburn and it makes me so sad because CALIBURN is the sword that determines the king, not Excalibur 🫠

I also love the fact that Merlin was standing behind Arthur and was still able to know when Arthur actually believed in himself. That is a strong and powerful bond between the two. ❤️
