OMG.. I was flying for 9 hours overnight and I kept forcing myself to stay away cuz I was sitting between two men. this is amazing. I don't think a lot of people understand it's a real fear knowing you're boxed, in it's night time, and you do feel very vulnerable.

In Malaysia, we have a similar system for our trains. On long distance KTM ETS trains, female passengers can choose to sit next to another female. This was implemented seven years ago, and the outcome has been great for everyone. For short distance trains, we have women only coaches. We also have women only options for long distance express buses where women can choose seats next to other female passengers, female only rides on e-hailing apps, and Pink Parking spaces for female drivers. This system provides more than just security, it ensures comfort for female travelers.
