@destancourt: Never hit a bad serve isn't the main idea but to notice errors and use the right technique to get better even with little margin on your serve cause no one is perfect. Here are simple technical drills you can try out to help you build a better, more stable serve. 1) Trophy Position- First, we have the trophy pose. This position is all about keeping your wrist firm at the top of your swing, ensuring you don't open the racket face too early. By practicing this, you build muscle memory and a consistent starting serve point. 2) Loose Arm - You want to swing the racket with a relaxed, almost effortless feel no tension in your shoulder or forearm, The idea is that, by staying loose, your energy transfer from your legs all the way up, giving you a smoother and more powerful serve. 3) Toss precision- here the focus was on toss accuracy. Tossing the ball in the same spot every time is crucial. I use a diagonal target to train my toss, so I can repeat the serve at the same angle, giving me more control and accuracy. 4) Stability and Stance - After you hit the serve, the back foot is crucial, not just pushing up, but it helps you catch yourself, regain balance, and get ready to move forward quickly for the next ball.
