@dansfera: The irony is brutal: the people dedicated to saving lives often have shorter life expectancies than the patients they treat. It turns out that constant, grueling overwork is literally driving physicians to an earlier grave. When approaching these professionals, leading with a big paycheck is the quickest way to lose credibility. It signals a focus on profit over wellbeing—and implies that your operation might prioritize business outcomes over a doctor’s license. Respecting their time starts with valuing their humanity, not just their earning potential. #PhysicianBurnout #MedicalCareer #HealthcareLife #DoctorBurnout #MedicalRecruiting
It’s starts in undergrad pulling all nighters to get A’s medical School and USMLE’sto get that residency, study to get board certification

High risk for suicide!😩 But, I don’t know anything about life expectancy being that different. Many are retiring earlier these days. Burnout is just horrible for all healthcare professionals.

Physicians live linger than the average patient. I am not discounting the stress etc. As a Family Medicine physician in private practice I worked an average of 80 hours a week. But I didn't smoke, exercised, and knew what to pay attention to. I also have a Family Medicine physician.
