this is crazy. because I'm black/hispanic I watched anime played, video games, built computers all the supposed "dweeb" stuff. I have NEVER had an issue with dating black women or any women for that matter. black, white, asian, hispanic. and this was in the 90s in Brooklyn. I think this is very much a regional problem. because I have never seen it.

As a black man who uses to argue this same point and matured here's why this argument is bad. It was either A. Lack of confidence, B. Lack of Hygiene, C. Lack of personalality outside of those nerdy things you like, and D. You were going for the wrong girls. 9 times our of 10, there was always a girl that was likely into you while into the same thing.

the way some of you will create an entire explanation for why you don't date black women instead of just admitting that black women simply aren't your preference is crazy to me. ' saying black women hate nerdy black men because you're nerdy is absurd when there are SO many nerdy black women who love nerdy men, and plenty of black women in general who do. you're just not looking for them because you don't WANT to. and that's okay! you're allowed to have a preference. but why create this narrative that black women collectively don't want you just to justify why you "go where you're wanted" elsewhere? and even beyond black women, not every woman likes nerdy men. there are women of every race who aren't attracted to nerdy guys, just like there are women of every race who ARE. so why specifically make black women the explanation? ( at some point, you need to look inward and ask yourself why you feel the need to frame your dating preferences as black women rejecting you. maybe black women aren't the women you're looking for. that's fine. but own that preference instead of turning it into "Black women hate black nerdy men" because that is simply not reality
