@sarawebbscience: I studied astrophysics because I wanted to understand the Universe. I didn’t realise it would also mean sending experiments to space, writing books, standing on stages, talking science on TV, travelling the world, working with incredible students, building things I never expected to build… and occasionally actually looking through a telescope. 🔭✨ That’s one of my favourite things about being a scientist: there is no single version of what a scientist looks like, or where science can take you. My career has taken some very unexpected turns, but underneath all of it is the same thing that made me fall in love with astrophysics in the first place - being curious about something we don’t understand yet, and getting to ask why?
