yep, here in Texas people on unemployment and probation/parole have to get the company to sign that they interviewed. found out several were interviewing and not showing up if hired, so I reach out to our HR who told me that legally if I think they are just wanting the signature and I feel they are not really wanting to work, I can refuse to sign that they interviewed.
