Today let's talk about one of the most-mind-bending phenomena in a world currently bursting at the seams with mind-bending phenomena. Just imagine — if someone was in jail for murder, and then they stabbed their cellmate in the eye, set fire to the canteen, then smeared themselves in feces, you wouldn't let them out of jail early, right? And yet this is pretty much what is happening with Russia and the world of international sport. In 2022, a whole load of sporting bodies banned or imposed restrictions on Russia because they did a very bad thing. Nearly five years later, Russia is still doing that very bad thing. Not only that, but they've done a whole bunch of other really, really bad things, while carrying on doing the original very bad thing. And yet for some inexplicable reason, loads of those sporting bodies have decided they've been punished enough and that Russia has served its time. #ukraine #ukrainewar #russia #war #kyiv
