@atlassun97: “I really don’t think this is a good idea.” Lena’s voice carried from the bathroom of their shared dorm room. “You just don’t understand Lalee.” Miu replied, almost whining. - The pair had become best friends their first year at Blackwood Magic Academy, the most prestigious school for the magically gifted this side of the equator. By second year they had realised their feelings were deeper than simple friendship, and by their third were happily together in a relationship. Much to the despise of some students, now in their fourth and final year at Blackwood the two girls practically ran the school. Never outright nasty and rude, except to those who deserved it, they had most of the student body in line with just a look. Space in the hallways was made when they walked down them, they didn’t wait in any cafeteria lines, and with the upcoming formal dance they were expected to be crowned homecoming queens. There was only two things that might stand in their way. The group of their classmates who had been out for blood the second week of term, and Miu’s low self confidence. - Lena dried her hands on the hand towel and stepped out of the bathroom to see Miu frantically searching her desk. “What are you looking for?” She asked walking over and stopping behind Miu. “The Lilith’s Charm spell book. I could’ve sworn I borrowed it from the library last semester.” Lena reached forward and placed her hands on Miu’s waist. Miu paused momentarily at her touch. “Slow down.” Lena hummed by her ear. “I’ll help you find it.” She added, her hands squeezing Miu’s waist gently. “But you don’t even want me to cast the spell.” Miu frowned, turning slightly to look at Lena. “Because I don’t think you need it baby.” Lena responded, turning Miu so she was facing her properly. Miu lifted her arms and rested them on top of Lena’s shoulders, fingers tangling gently into the hair at the nape of her neck. “You’re my girlfriend, you automatically have to think I’m the prettiest girl in the room. I want everyone else at the dance to think that too.” Miu gave Lena a pout that she knew would stop any serious argument. “That’s why I need to find this book, I have a feeling it’s got the information I need.” Lena simply shook her head with a soft laugh. “You are ridiculous.” She told her quietly after a moment. “But you’re still going to help me aren’t you?” Miu countered with a raise of her eyebrow. Lena rolled her eyes and in one swift motion pulled Miu closer and kissed her firmly. Miu grinned into the kiss, knowing she had won. Lena rested her forehead against Miu’s after breaking the kiss and whispered. “Where did you last see the book?” - Miu found Lilith’s Charm spell book in the bottom draw of her desk under a stack of old assignments. She spent the whole evening going through it trying to find the spell she wanted, and was now still reading it in bed. Lena had long turned her bedside light off and was laying on her side facing Miu, snuggled comfortably under the covers of their double bed. All shared dorms normally had two single beds, but when Miu had flashed her puppy dogs eyes and last name to the floor matron on the first day of the year, a double bed had appeared in their room that same night. “Baby. Can you turn your light off now?” Lena mumbled with a frown, needing pitch black to fall asleep. “Nearly, I think I’m on the right chapter.” Miu looked up from the spell book briefly, and reached out to stroke Lena’s hair. Lena turned her face and groaned into her pillow. A few minutes later Miu let out an excited squeal causing Lena to flinch, her hand raising to cover her ear instantly. “What?” Lena sat up slightly. “This is it!
