This man r*ped me in 2013 & 2014. He was my neighbor and one of the first "friends" I made in Eugene, immediately after I started living on my own for the first time. The @University Of Oregon was aware of the assault and no action was taken against him. He was only asked to complete an interview before he could register for the next term. As far as they made me aware. He opted out and said he decided to complete his classes elsewhere since he was no longer playing football. The university failed me repeatedly after being made aware of the assault and as a result I flunked out TWICE. This was the beginning of my adulthood. I was just starting to figure out how to navigate the world. My innocence was taken from me. my mental health suffered greatly for years and I had to do intensive trauma therapy. Yet, I was offered no resources whatsoever and the university failed to protect me and do their duties under what is required by Title IX. I also want to say that @Stadium Park was aware of the situation as well, and did nothing to help mediate the situation, knowing my rapist was living next-door to me and tried to come into my apartment multiple times after I went no contact with him. His repeated stalking. I trusted him. I thought it was my fault for months, until a GYNECOLOGIST told me what happened was rape. I was drunk, I was 18 and alone, I said "No sex." After being forced into letting him give me a back massage, it still turned into what I said no to. I did nothing in the moment. I let it happen in my mind. I hung out with him again because my brain didn't register it for what it was and it happened AGAIN. Finally after going to the doctor was I told what happened to me was SA and that I needed to cut contact with that person imemdiately. Which then became a period of stalking. No one took me seriously so I never went to the police. Now we are out of the statute of limitations. I will never know justice. Everyone failed me. I am Jane Doe.
