the port duty fees are just insanely high and it's affecting Ghana as a country. in foreign countries even if you import a house from outside the shipping fee is all you pay and that's it. but if you are a Ghanaian and you buy something from China to Ghana, you will pay for your goods to be shipped, and turn around and pay even higher fee just to receive your goods. and if care is not taken you might not even get everything you paid for with your hard earned money. this is not law. it's pure thievery and extortion. how can improvement come into the country. this is the 21st century and we are still living in the 60s. what a shame.
