Happy that reform is basically dead but I’m also sad that the current system will just be maintained, I’m still tired of Labour and the tories

Hex Rag :

Not only that but it's made people hyper aware of the kind of people who vote reform after watching Clacton on tv

jess :

I'm not reform, but there's no argument that welfare is out of control..

Reform saw that scene in The Pianist where the guy in a wheelchair gets thrown off the balcony and went, "Yeah, this'll make Britain great again"

The gov could raise £50bln just with a minor Annual Wealth Tax: A 1% to 2% tax on net wealth holdings (such as assets exceeding £10 million) could raise roughly £24 billion per year. Capital Gains Equalization: Aligning Capital Gains Tax rates with standard income tax rates is projected to generate upwards of £14 billion annually.Investment Income Changes: Applying National Insurance contributions to investment and dividend income could capture another £10.2 billion.Loophole Closures: Reforming inheritance tax rules, share buyback taxes, and non-dom tax provisions accounts for the remaining billions.
