This is somehow true. My husband, who lives in North, says boxed meals are cheap because most of the vegetables sold are grown in their backyard so they don’t really pay anything aside from the seeds they plant. As for meat, some also has their own pets and more. Rice grains are also cheap even oils. That’s why.
