This happened back in the '80s. Our mother told our father she didn't feel like getting up early and making his breakfast or lunch anymore. About a week passed and our dad started leaving for work an hour earlier than usual. Our mom assumed he was grabbing breakfast at Denny's. Nope. A lady down the street was making his breakfasts & lunches now in exchange for small house repairs. 😁
