It wouldn’t be a cart.. flash memory would be too expensive since most next gen games would need something over 64gb.. More likely just a digital only console.

it wouldn't be the first time Sony played copycat to Nintendo. N64 introduced the analog stick. a year later, Sony released the dual shock controller. Wii motion controller - Playstation Move.

If it’s a hybrid console it will be 100 percent all digital. They aren’t going to invest money into creating some sort of cartridge for the PS6.

As far as I know, they said they want to get rid of physical media, not just discs! So a cartridge is also physical media, even though the data stored on it is digital 🤷🏻♀️

Nintendo coming out with a key card. Started all this none sense, a key card is not the same as a physical game, the key card gives you access. absolutely not the same. With out internet you can not play the game, so how is that the same as a physical game? Can you resell a key card, for those who dont have internet can they play the game? The raise in prices, how is that good for consumers?

if and i mean big IF they are doing cartridge i would be ok with that because you still get a "physical" media however that being said i feel like a cartridge would cost them more to make than a blu-ray disc but i could be wrong

If the heat continues and their numbers actually start going severely down, meaning a actual boycott without advertising said boycott's end date, then maybe there's a 10% chance that they'll consider going with cartridges.
