@udl0ch96: Is the car owner liable for damage at the car show? Attorney breaks it down! Who's at fault—the spectator or the owner? Let's discuss the legal implications and your thoughts! #UgoLord #fyp #attorneysoftiktok #lawyer #carshow
Everyone is missing the point here. Yes the sign said “spin me” giving permission to touch and manipulate the wheel. However what the man did was wrong. He spun the knock-off center cap, not the actual spinning part of the wheel. The knock-off is essentially the lug nut of the wheel, what keeps it from flying off,he was supposed to spin the outer fan-blade shaped part of the wheel. However there’s one more dilemma. There aren’t specific tools to tighten knock-off center caps, meaning it’s common for people to hammer them into place to keep them tight. So tight in fact that it would be impossible to just spin the knock-off loose with just your hand. This man however was able to spin the knock-off with no problem. Now either this man has hulk level strength, or the owner of the car does not have his wheels properly secured to his vehicle. I personally believe the second statement. My question to you is… who’s liable now given this new information?

I think the sign was actually referring to the wheel that spins, not the knockoff

The thing is, if it came off that easily. That man probably saved someone's life when you were cruising down the highway at 80 mile an hour.

To be fair a spinner isn’t designed to spin or anything so he knew it would break when he spun the spinner.

Only person liable is the owner. Hence the sign that says “spin me”

Well it’s not broke he just untwisted the knock off, and the sign was not for the knock off but in fact the rim because they are spinners and is ment to spin.
