I was the videographer for this wedding, some of my video is featured in this doc. We had 2 minutes to take shelter from when we saw rotation, to when it actually hit. It was scary and shook everyone up terribly. This tornado was devastating to STL, and unless you live in the city or were affected by it, keep your comments to yourself saying it wasn’t bad, it was just an EF3, or anything else related.

For people commenting that “it could’ve been worse” “it wasn’t that bad” “at least no one died”. You truly don’t understand the devastation this tornado brought to the STL area. 1+ year later and some areas still look like they were hit yesterday due to lack of funding and resources. Please be more respectful. Just because no one died, doesn’t mean it wasn’t devastating to our area.

For people making comments how it “wasn’t that bad” and “could be worse” my grandma died in an EF 2 tornado. Any tornado can be deadly and devastating!! Especially when you aren’t expecting it! Any tornado can be absolutely terrifying!
