For me most folks get in that role for justice not money. Also I’ve a very idealistic outlook of the justice system while knowing first hand it doesn’t work that way BUT in my rose colored glasses these are my thoughts 😂

I agree. I said this to my wife last week. I also feel strongly that the trigger was Cora’s doctors appointment. I’m thinking she said something like, “The pediatrician asked if there was any possibility that someone was touching her.” To this he freaked out and said something like, “Are you accusing me of something?” I think that this all happened after Cora’s appointment where she had already have several recent UTI’s and tummy troubles as per her teacher. I wonder if Lindsay suspected him after the daddy/daughter trips alone. 🤔

the da is up for election in November. what would it have looked like if he had chosen not to prosecute after they made such a huge deal about her being a murderer before they even did any investigation. so he walked down the hall and picked someone to take the fall for the office. the same thing happened with the Karen Reed second trial. nobody in the DA's office would take the case so they had to hire an outside attorney to try the case.
