Not a cop (and never wanted to be), but as someone who used to work in corrections, it's VERY easy for me to see how so many of them become fat. People really overestimate how much a lot of cops actually have to do from a physical standpoint lol. They may occasionally run into situations where they have to chase or fight someone, but they'll also have a lot of quiet days where all they have to do is sit in their patrol car for 12 hours (obviously this depends heavily on WHERE they work, but you get the idea.)
