Think my biggest issue learning to freshwater fish is finding areas and trying to find out which lures work best with the rotation of spots the fish are in, some days bites everywhere some days zero luck in the area with my lures, I mainly use soft plastics and fish in FL reserves, did you every struggle with this issue?

I feel like I’m kind of an oddball when it comes to which side I reel with. I’m right handed. So I like to cast AND reel with my right hand, I’ve tried reeling with my left and I just can’t do it. So I have to cast, let the line hit the water, and then swap the rod to my left hand so I can reel 😭
