big sigh... listen, not that I don't love ANY mermaid content we get, but I'm just begging for a nice, completed, normal mermaid game 😭 Like y'all know how ppl mod out the Sims and stuff? l want like that, just a game full of whimsy and magic and customization. Ik not everything on this list is this, but I cannot stand the rise in twisting mermaids into smth horrific or gruesome or mean. not against sirens either, but I'm picky and don't love the top down view of She Hungers. But regardless of my personal picky ass opinions, ALL the love to the artists who poured time, dedication, and clear passion into these games. I just wish mermaids were more of a beloved myth so we could hit all the genres instead of basic fun or crazy scary stuff yk?

I was part of the Patreon for Siren (not to be confused with Sirens), the game being made in the small dev team's spare time. Unfortunately I think the game is essentially dead in the water, because the head dev came out and said he was putting the game on hold due to personal reasons and failing mental health, and that he couldn't continue to take on all the responsibilities of the development process and didn't want backers to keep paying month after month when there was very little progress that was made. They were always transparent about the lack of funding and the slow process of the development, however the head dev ghosted everyone for months at a time, multiple times. It's really unfortunate, and I hope he can figure things out, but I'm also not holding out hope the project is ever picked back up

Srry to bother you but can u tell more about sirens? The game looks promising and it has a lot of potential but when I searched it I see no gameplay of it and it s more then 3-4 years when that trailer of the game was out
